How it all began

Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.
Confucius

My journey into birth work began in 2019—unexpectedly, but with purpose. As a former travel agent, I spent years helping people explore the world. But when my son and daughter-in-law were expecting their first child across the country, I felt a strong desire to support them from afar. That search led me to discover the transformative role of doulas, and something clicked. I didn’t just want to hire one—I felt called to become one.

Driven by that calling, I dove into a rigorous certification process, eager to learn everything I could about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the honor of assisting a local midwife with home births. That hands-on experience deepened my understanding of the birthing process and affirmed my passion for this work.

When the world began to reopen, I faced a crossroads: return to my corporate career or follow my heart into doula work full-time. I chose the path of purpose—and it’s been the most rewarding decision of my life. Today, I’m proud to walk alongside families during one of life’s most sacred transitions, offering compassionate care, informed guidance, and unwavering support.
