About Me

My journey into the world of doula work began unexpectedly in 2019. As a former travel agent, my life revolved around helping people explore the world. But when my son and daughter-in-law were expecting their first child across the country, I found myself searching for ways to support them from afar. This led me to discover the profound work of doulas, and I was immediately drawn to the idea of offering compassionate and informed support to families during such a transformative time. Instead of hiring a doula, I felt a deep calling to become one myself. I embarked on a rigorous certification process, eager to learn and grow in this meaningful field.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the incredible privilege of assisting a local midwife with home births. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of the birthing process and solidified my passion for supporting families in their unique journeys.
When the pandemic subsided, I faced a significant decision: return to my previous corporate job or embrace my newfound passion for doula work. Choosing the latter proved to be the best decision of my life. This fulfilling and rewarding profession allows me to make a genuine difference in the lives of families, guiding them through one of the most important moments of their lives.
