Your doula is a vital part of your birth journey
It has been proven by science that the continued support of a birth doula has a tremendous positive result on the labor process. As your doula, I will not give you any medical guidance, but I will provide you with physical, emotional, spiritual and educational support. I want you to have a safe, memorable and empowering birthing experience.
Regardless of your birthing intention such as home birth, non-medicated or medicated hospital birth, VBAC or cesarean birth, I will wholeheartedly and unbiased support you and your wishes.
educational guidance
I will ensure you have objective, evidence based information you need when making decisions that serve you and your families needs. I will help you to navigate through your choices and be by your side to answer all your questions. I will make sure you feel confident, comfortable, informed and help you to have the right conversations with your care provider should needs for more information arise.
physical support
I will be in constant and close proximity throughout your entire labor and during delivery. I am professionally trained in various comfort measures to help you with pain relieve. I will provide physical support using massage, acupressure and various laboring and birthing positions. You will be my only focus throughout the entire labor and birthing process. Your care provider and nurses will be checking in, and monitoring you, as well as other patients, making this a well balanced birthing support team.
emotional and spiritual support
You and your body is growing an incredible loving human being from a single cell. Hormonal changes might take you on an emotional rollercoaster during your pregnancy from anxiety to euphoria and anything in between.
I believe in you and the amazing power of your body. Your body was designed to birth your baby. During pregnancy your body not only unlocks your feminine super powers, it also has heightened intuitions. Your body already knows what to do and grows an entire new organ for this miracle to happen.
