Prenatal Yoga
Integrating mind, body and spirit by stretching and strengthening your muscles. Creating more space, the physical practice offers an opportunity to be more flexible. Flexibility will help in childbirth for the hips to move and open so baby can get in, through and out of the pelvis.
It is the spiritual aspect of the practice helping you back to yourself: During birth we need to stay deeply connected, trust our bodies, our innate intuition and surrender. The time spent on your yoga mat is a great investment in your health and will help you to connect with your inner true self through breath-work, mindfulness and meditation. It teaches you to trust and establish presence in your life.
I will create space for you to slow down, find you inner true voice and trust in in each group yoga class, series or private class.
Mom should be in her second trimester of pregnancy and be cleared by her prenatal care provider

Sisterhood in Pregnancy
Childbirth Education – Prenatal Yoga – Meditation – Exploring The Somatic Body
All classes are for birthing mothers in a group setting. Moms have the opportunity to connect with their “Tribe” in a relaxed, safe and nurturing atmosphere. Bond and exchange their wisdom from their pregnancy journey, as well as ask question.
Classes support the development and strengthening of the body, mind, and spirit. The yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditations greatly impact the quality of your pregnancy and birth experience. We conclude each class with a meditation but not until we had some fun and learn about “Dancing In Labor”
This 2 week series with weekly 2,5 hour class educates, supports and celebrates you and your baby.
Interactive childbirth education includes a comprehensive student manual for you to download or print. Comfort measures guidance for the birthing partner is included in the manual. This ensures you will be well prepared on your baby’s birth day.
Location of this class changes around town. Some venues require a maximum attendance.
